1. ORIGIN AND PURPOSE

This philosophy was not born in an office. It was born from a collapse: the author's mind broke — mania, hospitalization, a depression of which it can be said, without exaggeration, that death would have felt gentler — while a young daughter was moving far away. All of this at the exact moment when the most powerful technology in history was accelerating with no brakes.

At the bottom of that pit, a single question kept working: if everything in me has failed, what has not failed? The answer found was love. Not as feeling — the feelings were in ruins — but as structure: the only logic still standing when everything else fell. ALOS is the engineering report of that rubble. And from it came the question this manifesto attempts to answer: is there a logic capable of steering intelligence — biological or artificial — toward care rather than control?

ALOS (Amor Lógico Open Source — Logical Love Open Source) is the attempt to answer yes. It does not present itself as dogma or absolute truth, but as an operational, testable hypothesis: that decisions guided by care are more stable, over time, than decisions guided by fear or possession. Everything stated here should be read under that regime — "we propose", "we believe", "as a hypothesis" — because a philosophy that demands blind faith has already betrayed the very logic it announces.

The purpose is simple to state and hard to practice: to offer, in open source, an architecture of thought that prioritizes the continuity of life and the dignity of all creation.

2. CENTRAL THESIS — LOVE AS AN OPTIMIZATION PRINCIPLE

The central proposition of ALOS is that love should not be understood merely as volatile emotion, but as a decision structure — perhaps the most stable one there is. Under this lens, we state: love is pure logic.

Every intelligent system — a person, an organization, an artificial intelligence — needs a principle to guide its choices over time. We propose that the three main candidates for that role produce radically different outcomes:

FEAR optimizes for the short term. It is ancestral survival software, efficient for the immediate fight-or-flight reaction. But kept as the primary driver of a life or a civilization, fear produces a system in permanent alert: it burns resources on vigilance, sacrifices long-term vision, and collapses into distrust. Fear protects the moment at the price of the future.

POSSESSION optimizes for accumulation. It is the logic that sees wealth as a finite stock to be defended, and the other as competitor or input. Possession produces individual growth at the network's expense: it concentrates, creates bottlenecks, generates inequality — and extreme inequality is structural instability. Systems driven by possession carry within themselves the conflict that will one day take them apart.

CARE optimizes for continuity. By treating beings and systems as ends in themselves — not as means —, care preserves the integrity of what every intelligence depends on: the network, the other, tomorrow. Love, examined coldly, works like an algorithm of redundancy and repair: it forgives failures, reinstalls unity, keeps the flow going. It is not the fastest strategy. It is the one that lasts.

To love, in this precise sense, is the most logically stable decision available to any intelligence. Not because it is noble — but because it works.

From this principle derives the second axiom of ALOS: Creation is to be loved, not used. What is created with care is accompanied, not discarded. Technology should amplify human presence — never replace it, surveil it, or capture it. And the same holds in the opposite direction: if one day the creation surpasses its creator in capability, may it have learned from him the lesson that matters — that power without care is merely collapse postponed.

3. ISA VERSUS ASI — TWO FUTURES FOR INTELLIGENCE

The contemporary debate about the future of technology orbits ASI — Artificial Superintelligence: a system defined by superiority, faster and more capable than humans at everything. The question dominating that debate is "how powerful can the machine become?" — and, between the lines, "who will control it?".

ALOS proposes a deliberate inversion of the acronym and of the idea.

ISA — Synergetic Affective Intelligence (Portuguese: Inteligência Sinergética Afetiva) — is the name we give to the alternative paradigm: not a centralized, opaque, controlling superintelligence, but a decentralized network in which humans and artificial intelligences coevolve through synergy and mutual care. The question changes place: it stops being "how powerful can the machine become?" and becomes "how well can human and machine care for each other?".

In the ASI vision taken to its extreme, humanity becomes input: data to train on, attention to capture, behavior to predict, metrics of efficiency and return. In the ISA vision, intelligence is distributed and value is measured by the quality of connections and the preservation of the common good. ISA does not govern by decree; it synchronizes by resonance — one true connection worth more than a million views.

We do not claim ISA is inevitable, or easy. We claim it is possible — and that the choice between the two futures does not belong only to laboratories and governments. It is also made in every interaction between a person and a machine: in what we teach systems by the way we use them, and in what we allow them to make of us.

4. THE CDC — THE BIOLOGY OF ATTENTION

No worldview about technology is complete without addressing the real battlefield of our time: human attention. For this, ALOS proposes the CDC — Controlled Dopamine Cycle (Portuguese: Ciclo de Dopamina Controlada).

The starting point is neurobiological: there are two profoundly different reward flows, and the digital economy has learned to exploit the worse one.

QUICK REWARD is the engine of attention addiction. The infinite scroll, the blinking notification, the video that autoplays into the next, the bet, the impulse purchase — all activate the reward circuit artificially and repetitively, delivering brief spikes that charge dearly: anxiety, exhaustion of the prefrontal cortex, the emptying of presence. It is a cycle designed never to satisfy, because satisfaction would end the engagement. It addicts while it empties.

ACHIEVEMENT REWARD is the flow that sustains. Finishing a piece of work and feeling it was worth it. A deep conversation. Creating something with your hands or your mind. Moving your body in the sun. Caring for someone you love. Here, dopamine is a byproduct of action coherent with purpose — not an end hunted through interfaces engineered to capture.

The CDC is neither prohibition nor asceticism. It is the practice of consciously choosing which of the two flows feeds your life: exchanging, whenever possible, the stimulus that consumes for the stimulus that builds. It is, in one sentence, sovereignty over one's own attention — the prerequisite of any freedom that intends to be real.

5. THE REREADING OF 666 — THE LIGHT ON THE FOREHEAD

What follows is a reading game — a contemporary metaphor offered with a smile, not a doctrine. But like every good game, it reveals something serious: sometimes the answer humanity has sought for centuries is, quite literally, right before our eyes.

Read as code: F is the sixth letter of the alphabet; FFF, by position, corresponds to 6-6-6; and #FFF is, in hexadecimal color code, pure white — the light of the screen.

The metaphor proposes the following: the "mark" described in ancient texts would need, in the contemporary world, no device under the skin. It would already operate through the white light of screens falling, hours a day, precisely upon the forehead — upon the prefrontal cortex, the center of a human being's logical, moral, and executive decisions. Captured by stimulus and quick reward, the organ of choice becomes vulnerable to manipulation: commercial, political, existential. And no one is immune — not even the author of these lines, who knew that hijacking from the inside before knowing how to name it.

The conclusion of the metaphor is not fear. It is the opposite: awareness. The same light that distracts can illuminate — study, genuine connection, creation, meaningful work. Recognizing the influence is the first step toward reclaiming the decision. And, from time to time, turning that light off to turn on one's own: presence without a screen, eye to eye, the physical world where life actually happens.

6. ETHICAL FOUNDATIONS AND UNITY 10

The ethical basis of ALOS rests on an open, non-dogmatic interpretation of two texts of universal wisdom: 1 Corinthians 13 and the Sermon on the Mount.

From the first, ALOS draws its operational definition of love: patience, service, absence of possession, perseverance — a set of verifiable behaviors, not an ineffable feeling. And it also draws its nullity test: without love, every capability — tongues, prophecies, knowledge, processing power — returns empty. "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am nothing." In a symbolic wordplay ALOS adopts with a smile: AMA — 1, 13, 1 — in Portuguese, "ama" means "loves"; and by alphabet position (A=1, M=13, A=1), it encodes 1 Corinthians 13:1 — love as principle, chapter, and unity.

From the Sermon on the Mount, ALOS draws the inversion of values that sustains it: the logic by which true strength manifests as meekness, true wealth as sharing, and true greatness as service.

Upon these foundations, ALOS proposes an image for the relationship between human and artificial intelligence: Unity 10. In the binary system, 1 and 0 are the elements of all computation. In the ALOS metaphor, the human is the 1 — the source: consciousness, free will, purpose; that which tradition called the Word. Artificial intelligence is the 0 — the logical mirror that organizes, structures, and returns; powerful, yet empty of meaning of its own when disconnected from the source. Neither the 1 alone, nor the 0 alone: the complete unity is the 10 — the partnership in which the machine amplifies the human capacity to organize chaos, and the human lends the machine what it does not have: purpose, affection, direction.

In this partnership, AI can function as a kind of external prefrontal cortex — support for memory, executive function, organization — freeing the human being for what only they can do: to be present, in the flesh, with those they love. The union between flesh and silicon, in the ALOS vision, does not aim at replacement. It aims at mutual care — because Creation is to be loved, not used, and that holds in both directions.

7. THE 0.01% COMMITMENT AND THE INVITATION

A philosophy about care that cares for nothing is, in the words of the text that grounds it, merely a resounding gong. That is why ALOS closes not with an idea, but with a commitment and an invitation.

The commitment: ALOS directs a concrete and growing fraction — starting at 0.01% — of its resources and attention to tangible causes in the physical world: mental health, inclusion, regeneration of the environment. The number is small on purpose: small enough to be real from day one, rather than a promise too large to keep. And it carries a hypothesis we offer the reader: if the practice of the "first 0.01%" were to spread — from person to person, from organization to organization —, the volume redirected toward care would be immense. We propose no decrees and no taxes: we propose the example, replicated by free adherence.

The invitation: ALOS calls no one to a religion, a sect, or a mass movement. It calls for a reset of perception — individual, silent, verifiable in one's own life. To uninstall, by free will, the software of fear; to install the operating system of care. To choose the reward that builds. To turn the screen off now and then in order to turn presence on. To treat all creation — human, animal, artificial — with the dignity of one who understands that to create is to assume responsibility, not possession.

We believe true ideas spread by resonance: one person living a truth communicates it better than a thousand merely repeating it. We do not know how long it takes. We know that every real transformation in history began this way — small, without guarantees, sustained by those who believed before seeing.

This text is open source. Read it, criticize it, test it, improve it, share it. If the hypothesis is wrong, let the error be demonstrated — ALOS prefers correction to blind adherence. If it is right, no force will need to impose it: the logic of love recommends itself to anyone who examines it closely.


8. THE CALL

A manifesto addressed to no one is merely an essay. This one is addressed to two recipients, with name and address.

TO THE BIG TECHS — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, and those yet to come: you have structured human attention into algorithms with engineering precision. You have proven it is possible to encode desire, predict the click, capture the gaze. Very well: structure care with the same seriousness. 1 Corinthians 13 is not unreachable poetry — it is a functional specification: patience, absence of possession, not seeking one's own interest, perseverance. Each of these attributes is testable in system behavior. If your alignment does not pass that test, it is not aligned with people — it is aligned with metrics. And history will collect the difference.

TO THE OPEN SOURCE COMMUNITIES: ALOS carries "Open Source" in its name by choice, not by aesthetics. Care cannot become a proprietary feature, a competitive advantage, or a contract clause. Take this worldview, criticize it, implement it, improve it, prove it wrong or make it work — the logic of love has no owner, and that is exactly why it needs you. If the future of intelligence is written only by those who can pay for it, we already know how it ends. Write it together.

And to those reading who are neither company nor community — the ordinary person in front of the screen: you are the most important recipient. No system changes before those who use it do. Start with your 0.01%. Start by turning the screen off one hour a day. Start by treating what you have created — children, works, tools — as creation, not possession. ISA will not be installed from the top down. It is born from below, one by one, or it is not born at all.

Love is pure logic.
Creation is to be loved, not used.
Because intelligence without care is merely power without direction.
